North Okanagan School District #83

Sicamous Learning Centre

Grade 12 Is Closer Than You Think

General Info

We offer courses for both adults and school-age students. Students work at their own pace on those courses that they need. Some courses are computer-based, some are on-line and others are from texts and binders. Instruction and tutoring support are available on-site during school hours.

There are differing admission, attendance and graduation guidelines depending on whether you are an adult or a school-age student. Please use the links on the left for more specific information.

Adult Students

Students can choose from a range of courses depending on their educational goals. There are no course fees if you are working towards your grade 12. We do have a registration fee to cover miscellaneous student costs.

It is important for adults to register before Sept. 30th. in order to guarantee admission. We do accept adult students after Sept. 30th but you may be placed on a waitlist with your admission being subject to available openings.

The Sicamous Learning Centre offers four options for adults.

School-Age Students

The Sicamous Learning Centre is primarily for adult students but we can accommodate school-age students (16-19) who are motivated and responsible. School-age students are not automatically accepted into our program. They must first apply and meet the criteria. A decision is then made by program staff and the school board office.
